UTL v0.3.0 Released - October 2019

As noted in our recent blog post, we have been refining our approach to developing the Unified Test List (UTL), and have been focussing on Improvements in the background to increase both the frequency and scale of releases.

We are pleased to announce that the UTL v0.3.0 update has now been published both in human-readable form  on our Pathology collaborative workspace and as a Pathology and Laboratory Medicine SNOMED CT RF2 In Development extension module on TRUD  alongside the main UK SNOMED CT Edition.

The UTL now includes over 1600 items, with more than 720 concepts added in this release with a particular emphasis on allergens.

Feedback, comments and questions on the data format, content construction and coverage, and also on the content model are all welcome. We are keen to work with interested parties on improving the coverage and quality of the UTL.

We have established a discussion forum with separate threads on the UTL page of the Pathology and Diagnostics collaboration site  to collect general feedback and questions on the UTL release as a whole.

Feedback on specific items (concepts) in the human-readable review package for UTL is simple as there is a feedback link on each item in both the full view and the list of changes in the package that will pre-populate a feedback email with the concept ID information.

Note: The Discussion forum requires users to register for an account with us in order to be able to contribute to the discussions .To do so, please email pathologyanddiagnostics@nhs.net with an access request.

If you would like to send feedback to us directly without registering for the forum you can also contact us via our mailbox: pathologyanddiagnostics@nhs.net

Kind regards
