  • SNOMED CT – Successfully Deployed within TPP SystmOne

    The SNOMED CT in Primary Care Team are delighted to announce that a significant milestone has been achieved with the first full SNOMED CT deployment with a GP system supplier.

    TPP successfully completed deployment of SNOMED CT across their SystmOne General Practice estate on the 29/11/18............

  • QOF Query & Response

    The SNOMED CT Implementation in primary care project thought would like to share a recent QOF query and the response that has been provided: Query: “SNOMED CT code 492615014 (Equivalent Read code - E2A2) for Post-concussion syndrome is including anyone with this code on our Dementia Register.” Response from NHS Digital Business Rules Team: We have checked with our clinical advisors and terminologists and they concur that this code should not appear in the business rules.  We have discussed with stakeholders including NHS England and we are looking to remove the code from the cluster in our next release of the QOF business rules. We are currently working on this release which will be used for the end of year QOF 2018-19 extract.   Once this is complete and goes out to GP system suppliers, they will update their search templates to match these updated rules and these patients will no longer be &lsquo...
