  • Delen Refresh - Week commencing 29 August 2022

    Published: August 2022

    Dear colleague,

Delen continues to receive very high user satisfaction ratings, but it's important to us to keep striving for improvements based on the feedback and to ensure content remains accessible for you as our users.

Consequently, we are undertaking a redesign project on the site to provide you with a fresh Delen experience where you can expect to see changes to navigation, structure and overall page design.

Changes will be made to the platform week commencing 29 August, and we expect the redesign to be fully launched on 08 September.

During this phase, the site may look inconsistent in terms of design, but we will do everything we can to minimise disruption.

If you'd like to tell us what you think about the new site, you can use the feedback link on the new homepage.

    Kind regards

  • National Clinical Coding Training Handbook - Guidance for managers and clinical coders 2022-23 and Interactive Presentation

    Dear Colleague,

We’re pleased to announce that the National Clinical Coding Training Handbook 2022-23 – Guidance for managers and clinical coders is now available to view/download. This handbook provides guidance on how to book a place on any of the national clinical coding training courses, the various attendance requirements and what can be expected by both the line manager and the student when attending a course.

For 2022-23, we have also created an interactive PowerPoint presentation that provides a high-level overview of the information contained within the handbook, which as well as being useful for clinical coding professionals, may also be appropriate to share with anyone who expresses an interest in joining the clinical coding profession and the training involved as part of that process.

    Kind regards,
