  • Clinical Coding Auditor Programme (CCAP) Assessment Day September 2017 Results

    The Clinical Classifications Service are pleased to confirm that three 3 candidates were successful in meeting the required criteria for both the Theory and Practical papers and as a result have been invited to attend the Clinical Coding Audit Workshop which will be held in Leeds in November.

    There were a total of 13 candidates on the Assessment Day, with 5 candidates passing the Practical paper and 6 passing the Theory paper.  The Clinical Classifications Service is pleased to confirm that all the candidates passed the Conclusions and Recommendations exercise and the presentation part of the day.

    A Summary of Common Errors document relating to the Clinical Coding Auditor Programme Assessment Day held on 13th September 2017 is now available to view on our Delen website. It provides an overview of the common errors made in both the Practical and Theory papers are provided along with explanations/rationales as appropriate to assist anyone thinking of applying for the CCAP in the future.

  • Clinical Coding Auditor Programme Assessment Day 2017-18: Applications Re-opened

     Published: August 2017

     Due to unforeseen circumstances the Clinical Classifications Service have re-opened applications for the Clinical Coding Auditor Programme Assessment Day 2017-18, being held on the 13th September 2017. There is currently one place available on the Assessment Day and applications are, as previously advised, accepted on a first come, first served basis.

  • 2017- 18 Clinical Classifications training schedule

    The 2017 - 18 Clinical Classifications Service training schedule will be available via Delen later this week. 

    You can view all supporting documentation, such as the CCAP & CCTP Handbooks, CV and application checklist via our Education and Training pages. We have provided this information before the application forms and course details are available to enable you to prepare your application documents. 

    You will be able to apply for the courses when the 2017 - 18 application forms, course dates and costs are available via the above pages. We will be publishing the details and application forms later this week and recommend regularly checking Delen for updates.

    Please ensure that you include all required course and payment documentation with your initial application. We are unable to accept incomplete applications.

    All places are allocated on a first come, first served basis to applicants that fulfil all the required acceptance criteria and submit a completed, fully signed application pack with all relevant supporting documentation. 

    You can view further information about the course acceptance criteria and what documentation is required for each Programme by visiting the CCAP and CCTP pages.

    We look forward to receiving your completed application pack when the course details and application forms are published.
